How Does SCENAR Compare to Other Devices?
Only the SCENAR combines energy measuring functions along with real-time feedback and constant adjustment to deliver the correct type and amount of energy to the body. This means that each impulse is different from the previous one, so the body is unable to adapt to the signal and thus it is different from other therapeutic stimulation. The SCENAR impulse is high amplitude, so it stimulates C-fibres which make up approximately 85% of the nerves in the body. This explains the rapid effectiveness of SCENAR treatment on the whole body.

The electrical pulses from the SCENAR device have been specifically designed to contain numerous random features to prevent your body from “adapting” to the stimulation and to help the body continue the healing process to is completion. Because of its unique, computer controlled biofeedback capabilities and ability to stimulate Neuropeptide generation, the SCENAR achieves excellent in healing restoration.

Why is SCENAR Different to Other Therapeutic Treatment?
SCENAR therapy is different from other therapeutic treatment as it interacts with the body via the skin to locate, measure and treat the affected areas. SCENAR monitors the skin’s impedance and thus alters the electrical impulses that it emits in order to suit the body. This helps relieve pain in any affected area while simultaneously restoring function to the body. SCENAR involves active reflex biofeedback, which differs from passive, conventional therapeutic devices. SCENAR actively communicates with the body and processes the changes that are taking place.

Where Does SCENAR Originate From?
During the late 1970s, SCENAR was invented in Russia by scientists and doctors to cope with problems associated with the space program. Today, SCENAR is widely used in Russia and throughout Europe & the USA to assist in pain relief and functional restoration.

What Will Happen During My Treatment?
Your initial visit will be comprehensive, so please allow at least 1 hour and 30 minutes for your treatment. Before we begin the therapy, you will need to fill out a client information form, which includes your medical history and other important information. You will discuss with your SCENAR Therapist the level of pain and difficulty in movement/function you are experiencing, and then SCENAR treatment will begin. The SCENAR device will be applied to your skin until you feel a tingling sensation, which will not be painful. The treatment will last for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour, and for the duration of the treatment you will be asked if you feel any changes. In some cases, you may feel worse after the treatment, which is a good sign as it indicates that your body is responding to the treatment and that a change is occurring! If any changes take place, you will be asked to take notes and tell your therapist during your next session.

Can SCENAR Help Me?
SCENAR depends on the ability and speed of your body’s reaction to the signals emitted. Optimum therapeutic results depend totally on your body’s reaction, and each experience will be unique to the patient. The SCENAR device will monitor and evaluate your body’s response, so the possibility of side effects is minimal.
